Manuka Honey Peanut Butter

Manuka Honey Peanut Butter

Store bought peanut butter filled with garbage and refined sugars simply can’t compete with our peanut butter recipe. This one’s made with just peanuts, avocado oil, sea salt, and liquid gold (aka Manuka honey) - sweet, smooth, and 100% natural 🥜🍯

All you need:

2-4 cups roasted unsalted peanuts (depends how much peanut butter you want)

1–3 tbsp Manuka honey (depending on how sweet you like it)

1 tbsp avocado oil (or cold-pressed peanut oil)

½ tsp sea salt (optional but enhances flavor)

½ tsp sunflower lecithin (optional for extra creaminess & stability)

Once you have these ready to go, you simply do the following:

    1. Warm the peanuts (optional but recommended):

Lightly warm roasted peanuts in the oven at 250°F (120°C) for 5 minutes just to loosen oils (don’t brown or overheat).

    2. Blend in stages:

Add peanuts to a food processor.

Pulse until crumbly, then blend continuously for 3–5 minutes, scraping the sides.

It’ll go from coarse → doughy → glossy butter.

    3. Add Manuka & oil:

Once it’s mostly smooth, stop blending.

Add Manuka honey, oil, salt, and sunflower lecithin (if using).

Blend again for 30–60 seconds until fully creamy.

If it thickens too much, add another ½ tsp oil.

    4. Jar & store:

        Spoon into a glass jar.

Keeps 1 month in the pantry, 3–4 months refrigerated.

Stir if natural oil separation occurs (especially if not using sunflower lecithin).

Some tips:

🌟 For super creamy, blend longer and use lecithin.

🌟 For crunchy, stir in chopped roasted peanuts at the end.

Instead of wasting money on unhealthy peanut butter, you can make one rich in antioxidants and powerful gut supporting enzymes that your body will appreciate. This recipe is a prime example of how so many common foods can be drastically improved by simply replacing their refined sugars with Manuka honey.
