Manuka Panna Cotta

Imagine you can enjoy a delicious Italian dessert, while supporting your gut. Well you don't need to imagine any more with this fantastic Manuka sweetened Panna Cotta recipe. Impress yourself and your loved ones with a silky smooth and mouthwatering dessert!

Ingredients:

* 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
* 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
* 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
* 3 tablespoons cold water (for blooming gelatin)
* 3-4 tablespoons Manuka honey (depending on sweetness preference)
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bloom the gelatin:
Sprinkle the gelatin over the 3 tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it softens and absorbs the water.

2. Heat the cream and milk:
In a saucepan, gently warm the heavy cream and milk over low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.

3. Dissolve gelatin:
Remove the cream mixture from heat. Add the bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.

4. Add Manuka honey and vanilla:
Let the cream mixture cool to just below 120°F (you can check with a thermometer). Then stir in the Manuka honey and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully combined. Don’t heat again after adding honey to keep its benefits intact.

5. Pour & chill:
Pour the mixture into ramekins or molds. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until fully set.

6. Serve:
To unmold, dip the ramekins quickly in warm water and invert onto plates. Enjoy your delicate, honey-rich panna cotta!

This awesome recipe provides 4 servings :)
