Manuka Smoothie Booster

Smoothies are delicious and can be very healthy! What better way to enhance and sweeten them than with Manuka honey!? Here is an awesome smoothie booster that you can drop in to your favorite smoothie before you blend it to boost its wellness capabilities:

1 tablespoon manuka honey (kills bad bacteria while helping good ones, strips bad bacteria and fungal biofilms, powerful antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory, gives muscles fuel through good glucose and fructose)

1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder (for antioxidants and protein)

1/2 teaspoon maca powder (for energy and hormone support)

1/4 teaspoon ginger powder (for digestive and immune system support)

Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or turmeric for additional flavor and health benefits

Simply mix the ingredients, then add them to your favorite smoothie before you blend it! Works wonderfully with green smoothies too! The best part about this recipe is you can premix a larger batch, separate it into individual servings and freeze for later as any high speed blender should be able to blend it thoroughly when frozen :)
