Manuka Wellness Shot

Manuka Wellness Shot

Are you looking for a quick metabolism boosting shot that you can easily prepare?

One of the most important aspects of burning fat is having a healthy gut with a fast metabolism. As we age, our metabolisms slow down; thus we experience easy fat gain with difficult fat loss. One way you can help combat this is by consuming ingredients that boost metabolism, have healthy glucose/fructose (unlike that refined sugar garbage that plagues most of our food and drinks), reduce appetite, and increase gut health. Luckily for you, we have put together a fast and delicious wellness shot recipe that has all of this!

- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger or a small piece of fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon of 550+MGO SAMU Manuka honey
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder

Heat the water until its warm, but not too hot (~105 degrees F). Mix the ingredients in a cup with the manuka last, then pour the warm water and stir. Make sure everything has mixed and drink immediately. This is best to consume in the morning on an empty stomach. Below are some benefits:

Apple Cider Vinegar: Promotes satiety and helps control blood sugar levels.

Lemon Juice: Boosts metabolism and supports digestion.

Cayenne Pepper: Contains capsaicin, which may help increase metabolism and reduce appetite.

Ginger: Enhances digestion and boosts metabolism.

Turmeric: Contains curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and potential fat-burning properties.

Manuka Honey: Adds natural sweetness and provides additional powerful health benefits to the gut without raising blood sugar levels significantly. Manuka may also help satisfy sugar cravings while giving healthy glucose and fructose levels for clean muscle fuel.

Spirulina: A nutrient-dense algae that is a good source of Vitamin B12, supporting energy production and increasing metabolism.

Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new dietary regimen, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions or are taking medications.
